"BASEL WORLD 2014" Hilghlights on the World's Best Watches Exibition by Fashion Channel
This year's World Watch and Jewellery Show, Baselworld, will be opened on 27 March 2014 by Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer, Head of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport.
10 February 2014 marked the start of one of Switzerland's largest and most ambitious logistics and construction projects: setting up the Baselworld trade show.
Baselworld 2014 came to a close today having once again succeeded in bringing together around 150,000 attendees (including representatives from exhibiting companies, buyers, journalists and other visitors) from every continent, underlining its position as the most important marketplace and trend-setting event for the world's watch and jewellery industry.
Baselworld kicked-off to a great start with the traditional media conference.
The media interest for this show is huge, and thousands of journalists representing both conventional and new media were present and attentively followed the conference.
